But the hottest deal on the runway is the mermaid cut or a fishtail cut which flows at thigh length, try to avoid the cut going below your knees though; and if you have the body to carry it off, teamed with the right shade for you, you would be the hottest property in any party. If you have a tall frame a wide shoulder or a square neck would be a pleasant surprise from the halters which every other woman sports in formal wears. The best size is a full length gown however if you have a petite frame you might want to play with the length and try anything lower than your knee or knee length. Shoulder pads are back in vogue too.
One dress which no one can go wrong with is the classic little black dress or LBD as it is fondly called.
